Finally sunshine

Not much time to create on Saturday.  The sun was out and an old friend was in town.
Time to take a walk around Portland and enjoy the fresh air.
I did however make a connection and get some info on a place that might be interested in selling my beaded rings. I always say you make your own luck and it looks like today I ran with that idea.
I really need to network more.
Soak up the sun while you can.

More rings

I was brain storming last night looking at a fashion ring a friend gave me and was suddenly inspired to try something in my ring design.  Although both are very different I incorporated the color scheme into my ring from the fashion ring.  Love it!
This ring in the shell beads is so comfortable I barely notice it on my finger.  I reclaimed the beads from an old necklace.  I never pass up a piece of jewelry as you never know when you may be inspired to use it.  I like to think of it as reincarnation for jewelry that has fallen out of fashion.

This ring is the that was inspired by the fashion ring.  It has the gun metal black on black look.

I love being inspired and having a lot of friends who inspire me.

Mini vacation in April

On the way home from a great weekend with some girlfriends I saw this crooked little house.
Granted its about to fall over but I could'nt resist capturing it on my camera forever.
I love the chance to go to the beach for a break as it recharges my batteries and inspires my mind, body and soul.  We were very lucky to have some beautiful sunshine as well.  These ladies always provide great food and tons of laughter.
I have known these ladies for over 25 years and we consider ourselves so lucky to share in each others lives.
Cheers everyone,
